Surah Hashr Ayat 2

سورة الحشر

هُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَخۡرَجَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ اَهۡلِ الۡكِتٰبِ مِنۡ دِيَارِهِمۡ لِاَوَّلِ الۡحَشۡرِ‌ؔؕ مَا ظَنَنۡتُمۡ اَنۡ يَّخۡرُجُوۡا‌ وَظَنُّوۡۤا اَنَّهُمۡ مَّانِعَتُهُمۡ حُصُوۡنُهُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ فَاَتٰٮهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَمۡ يَحۡتَسِبُوۡا وَقَذَفَ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمُ الرُّعۡبَ يُخۡرِبُوۡنَ بُيُوۡتَهُمۡ بِاَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَاَيۡدِىۡ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ فَاعۡتَبِرُوۡا يٰۤاُولِىۡ الۡاَبۡصَارِ‌‏ (2)

Surah Hashr Ayat 2 With Urdu Translation

وہی تو ہے جس نے کفار اہل کتاب کو حشر اول کے وقت ان کے گھروں سے نکال دیا۔ تمہارے خیال میں بھی نہ تھا کہ وہ نکل جائیں گے اور وہ لوگ یہ سمجھے ہوئے تھے کہ ان کے قلعے ان کو خدا (کے عذاب) سے بچا لیں گے۔ مگر خدا نے ان کو وہاں سے آ لیا جہاں سے ان کو گمان بھی نہ تھا۔ اور ان کے دلوں میں دہشت ڈال دی کہ اپنے گھروں کو خود اپنے ہاتھوں اور مومنوں کے ہاتھوں سے اُجاڑنے لگے تو اے (بصیرت کی) آنکھیں رکھنے والو عبرت پکڑو (2)

Surah Hashr Ayat 2 With English Translation

He it is Who hath caused those of the People of the Scripture who disbelieved to go forth from their homes unto the first exile. Ye deemed not that they would go forth, while they deemed that their strongholds would protect them from Allah. But Allah reached them from a place whereof they recked not, and cast terror in their hearts so that they ruined their houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers. So learn a lesson, O ye who have eyes!
