Surah Mujadila Ayat 2
سورة المجادلة
اَلَّذِيۡنَ يُظٰهِرُوۡنَ مِنۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ نِّسَآٮِٕهِمۡ مَّا هُنَّ اُمَّهٰتِهِمۡؕ اِنۡ اُمَّهٰتُهُمۡ اِلَّا الّٰٓـىِٔۡ وَلَدۡنَهُمۡؕ وَاِنَّهُمۡ لَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مُنۡكَرًا مِّنَ الۡقَوۡلِ وَزُوۡرًاؕ وَ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُوۡرٌ (2)
Surah Mujadila Ayat 2 With Urdu Translation
جو لوگ تم میں سے اپنی عورتوں کو ماں کہہ دیتے ہیں وہ ان کی مائیں نہیں (ہوجاتیں)۔ ان کی مائیں تو وہی ہیں جن کے بطن سے وہ پیدا ہوئے۔ بےشک وہ نامعقول اور جھوٹی بات کہتے ہیں اور خدا بڑا معاف کرنے والا (اور) بخشنے والا ہے (2)
Surah Mujadila Ayat 2 With English Translation
Such of you as put away your wives (by saying they are as their mothers) – They are not their mothers; none are their mothers except those who gave them birth – they indeed utter an ill word and a lie. And lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
